The
137th British Open returns to the club that
has hosted The Open eight times since 1954.
Founded as Birkdale Golf Club in 1889, the club
waited until 1951 to get the "Royal"
status. One of Britain's finest golf clubs and
host to two Ryder Cups, the Walker and Curtis
Cups, the Women's British Open and the Open
Championship, Royal Birkdale has been rated
as one of the best courses in Britain. The view
is looking up the 18th fairway of this great
Par 4 finishing hole with its distinctive art-deco
style clubhouse, which overlooks the 18th green,
in the background (Limited Edition 450).

U.S. Open championship. The first U.S. Open was
played in 1895. The course offers a dramatic picturesque
setting and breathtaking ocean views of the Pacific
Ocean. The view is of the 3rd hole. This Par 3
is considered the “Signature Hole”
of the South Course looking from the tee at the
green perched at the edge of a canyon with the
ocean, coastline and the city of La Jolla in the
background.
